Entry #6. Change your Facebook Profile Picture

So I seen a lot of people changing there Facebook profile picture in support of Paris Attack that happen this past Friday 13th. Weird huh? Friday 13th? consider a bad luck for some people and bad luck for others. Paris got attacked by ISIS, killing more than 120 people and more than 150 people injured. Facebook created something for people all over the world to support France. So Facebook ask users in support at France to change their profile picture with France flag filter. So pretty much almost everyone did so far. But there are people that wont change their picture.

Clair Duffy this lady refused to change he picture, and her message went viral on the internet, because people wouldn't understand why would someone not support a country that just had been attacked and people had died?  Well her reasons were this because France is not the only country that suffers death, everyday we have cases similar in different part of the world. Every country faces death everyday, if Facebook would ask us everyday to change our profile picture for these, it would represent all the colors of the rainbow from Syria to Lebanon, from Iraq and Afghanistan to Sri Lanka and North Korea: from Burundi to Burma and Mexico. So Facebook give me a symbol that represents the scope of global suffering and I will wear it. Write a song, and I will sing it.

All she said in her message was true, and I agree with her, its really sad how our world is creating more violence and terrorism can take over.

Entry#5. SHORT CLASSES?

After reading the article about ASU offering a 7 1/2 weeks

So pretty much this article is saying that they would change the traditional 15 week courses to a 7 1/2 week course. ASU believes that students would finish school faster within 3 years, pay tuition, have flexible schedules.

Everyone has their point of view. But how I see this, is jus STRESS. Everything that you would learn is going to be in a fast pace, a lot of homework, a lot of work outside of school. I understand a hybrid class is the same thing, because part time is at school and the other part time is outside of school. People might like to finish school faster, instead of 4 years they would finish school in 3 years but just if your are efficient in doing everything. I'm taking a hybrid class but just ONE and its not easy for me because we need a lot of time outside of school. I am a mother of a 3 year girl and I work full time. I have 2 more classes but I'm glad I did, I challenge myself. So it is possible, just that we need to dedicate more time in our classes.

But in the other hand there is students that can not learn in a fast pace. A traditional student is used to a 15 week course. Its not obligation to take this classes, but it just suck that they are divided in two parts, you would have to wait until middle of the next semester start to continue your other class. For mothers this would be really good because they would have time to do more stuff and take care of their babies. But I think is more stressful for most students.

Entry#4 Black Friday!

Are you excited about Black Friday?

The day After Thanksgiving (Friday) is known as Black Friday. This also is unofficially/officially start of holiday shopping season. Almost all stores come out with Doorbuster Sales with early bird special to attract consumers to their stores. People stand in line hours before store is opened, to grab the bargain of the year. Almost every store has something that interests every one. In last few years(starting from 2013),Black Friday Sales have started way before Friday, with some stores starting their Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving day & some even starting on Wednesday.It would not be surprizing to see Black Friday sale starting from Monday on that week. Therefore, revenue wise this is NOT the best day for stores. Biggest sales day now include Thanksgiving day, Green Monday and Cyber Monday. This only happens in the US.

But there is always a dark side for everything!
The dark side of Black Friday is that it creates violence, fights, kids get lost, people just screaming, big lines outside the stores, traffic everywhere. Thanksgiving is a special day to be thankful about what really matters, like family, health,etc. Some people prefer shopping and not spending time with family. Also some companies obligate their employees to work Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday or else they could get fired!

Freddie Gray's Death

Geraldo Rivera from New Fox was just reporting the bad side of what was happening in Baltimore due to the death of Freddie Gray. All the question he would ask, seem just to make look black people look bad in front of the camera. This type of media just want attention, and they want to report or show to their audience what they want them to know.

Entry #2. Halloween!

Ghosts and goblins, witches on broomsticks, pumpkins, candy and spider webs, it’s that time of year again. Halloween is probably every child’s favorite holiday, combining the irresistible attractions of dressing up in costume and gorging on candy.

Here in the U.S. Halloween very popular. I think we celebrated more than 4th of July. Kids walking in the streets dressed up as their favorite superhero to get candies.

Adults also celebrate Halloween, but instead they assist to Halloween Parties, and win prizes for the best costume.

Also Celebrities celebrate Halloween.

But also Halloween has it dark side which, some people think Halloween is Satanic ritual, where they sacrifice cats or dog, some shelter had prohibit adopting black cat around this time of the year. But people don't even think that, we celebrated because we want to dress up and kids want to get candies, but their always bad people in the world that messed up for families. I was watching the news, and seeing that there was people that had been giving out "Snickers" chocolate with needles inside it. Also people had been throwing pumpkins to cars overnight and broking their car windows.

Entry #1: My blogging experience

This is my second time blogging in here yaayyy! My last blog page is       It was for my English 101 hybrid class. At first I was like OMG! I hate writing, I can't do this but at the end I changed my mind, I was starting to get more in to this, even thought I didn't had a lot of time to spend blogging I tried my best. So I have a lil experience at this. I think blogging helps you practice your writing and also inform or interact with other people about your experience or knowledge.

This blog is about Celebrity Gossip. I mean who doesn't like knowing about their favorite celebrity or the most famous celebrity gossip? I think we all have a favorite celebrity person we admire or like. I think this blog is interesting because it shows the most recent gossip that happens during the day, and that everyone is talking about. TMZ have their show too, their almost the first one to keeps inform about our celebrities life. Like this weekend their posts about celebrities were about Halloween, costumes, and parties.

My second favorite blog is: Dark Roasted Blend

Doing my research on blogs, I found one that was interesting and is Dark Roasted Blend. Is about highly visual "Weird & Wonderful" online magazine to complement your daily coffee ritual. I like this blog because it has really interesting posts about places or stuff in the World. For example one was "World's Strangest Theme Parks", "Bizarre Buses", "Japanese Arcades". All of this post are really interesting to start your morning with something really got your attention and can inform other people.

I didn't like this blog: Kurogane

The only reason I don't like this blog is because talks about anime, but I don't hate it, just doesn't interest me. I like other stuff like make up, clothes, hair, everything has to do with make up mostly. Oh and also food, I Love food and that's the reason I think this is not a blog for me.
